My
ethos
has
always
been
to
try
and
use
second
hand
or
reclaimed
timber
for
my
pens,
but
this
still
leaves
off
cuts
of
timber
or
pieces
that
are
not
suitable
due
to
faults
or
worm
and
are
more
or
less
of
no
use,
being
too
small
to
make
anything
from.
By
adding
these
offcuts
to
various
coloured
resin
I
can
make
them
into
usable
pen
blanks.
This
is
a
long
process
and
can
take
up
to
a
week
to
make
each
one,
making
this
the
ultimate
recycled
pen.
The
finished
pen
is
“pillared”
so
that
the
cap
can
be
screwed
on
the
back
of
the
pen
to
extend
it
for
anyone
who
likes
to
use
a
longer
pen. The nib has an iridium point and comes in a black velveteen pouch. This pen has been made and is ready to post.
