This one piece wooden twist pen has been made with a nice piece of Utile with a nice shape which is finished with Gold Plated fittings. It has a nice smooth bi-directional twist mechanism and comes fitted with a standard Parker G2 style ballpoint refill that are readily available in a variety of qualities, colours and brands online or in local stationary shops due the popularity of the Parker pen. It comes complete with a velvet sleeve to protect it

Utile is an appealing wood with many uses, including furniture and cabinetry, interior and exterior joinery for doors and window frames, countertops, decorative veneers and plywood. The wood is also used in boat construction and planking, domestic flooring, musical instruments and sports equipment. It is often used as a mahogany substitute.

General Details
Every pen is unique each being made using sustainable, reclaimed, recycled timber or resin and fitted with top quality components. Once turned and sanded, to give the best possible protection it has numerous coats of finish and then a polish. To protect you pen it comes in a velvet sleeve, unless otherwise stated, full instructions on the care of the pen. You will also ge a certificate of authenticity, confirming that I personally turned the pen and the date it was constructed.
This pen body is made from timber which, being a natural material, makes each piece unique in colour and figuring. The pen may be smooth to the touch or you may be able to feel the grain, blemishes and faults in the wood under the finish. Pens that are really smooth, with no blemishes are made of plastic!
All of my pens are UK post free and are usually dispatched within two days by 1st Class Mail (24 Tracked). For orders outside the UK please see the overseas postage charges and these will send by Tracked Royal Mail International Standard. Also be aware that the buyer is responsible for any import and custom taxes.
