Beautiful Multicoloured Fountain Pen
This stunningly beautiful unique fountain pen is constructed from multicoloured Resin with Gold Plated fittings.
The pen is “pillared” as a result, the cap can be screwed on the back of the pen to extend it for anyone who likes to use a longer pen. The nib has an iridium point. This pen has been made and therefore is ready to post.

Included: The pen comes with a converter for bottled ink and ink cartridges for those who prefer to use these. The pen is in a velvet pouch to protect it.
How the Pen Body Is Made
I make my resin pen blanks by first mixing various colour dyes into containers of clear resin which are then left for a few hours until the mixture thickens. At this stage they are now ready to be poured into a mould.
The reason for leaving them to thicken is that if they were poured straight away the colours would mix, for instance red and yellow mixed would turn orange. As a result, leaving them to thicken they should stay separate giving a red, and yellow combination, although there is no guarantee that that this will happen as expected.
After about a week the resin has cured and can be released from the mould. The block can then be cut to size and is ready to turn on the lathe.
