This Utile Ballpoint Pen with Chrome and Antique Gold coloured fittings and centre ring with music notation is constructed from recycled Utile. It comes fitted with a Parker G2 style refill. The mechanism is bidirectional so the pen nib can be extended by turning the top finial clockwise or counterclockwise. This pen you are buying is the one in the picture and is ready to post.

About the Pen Body
Utile is an appealing wood with many uses, including furniture and cabinetry, interior and exterior joinery for doors and window frames, countertops, decorative veneers and plywood. The wood is also used in boat construction and planking, domestic flooring, musical instruments and sports equipment. It is often used as a mahogany substitute. This particular timber came from some windows that had been fitted in the 1980’s and were later replaced.

Each pen is unique and made using sustainable or recycled timber and top quality components. Once turned and sanded, to give the best possible protection it has a number of coats of finish and then a polish. It comes complete in a pouch, full instructions on the care of the pen and a certificate of authenticity, confirming that I have turned the pen personally and the date it was constructed.
All of my pens are UK post free and are usually dispatched within two days by 1st Class Mail (24 Tracked). For orders outside the UK please see the overseas postage charges and these will send by Tracked Royal Mail International Standard.
