High End Resin Fountain Pen
This is a stunning top of the range pen fountain pen with the highest quality fittings that should last a lifetime. Made from multicoloured resin with Titanium Gold Fittings and Black Chrome Centre Ring and Cabochon making a lovely pen that would grace any desk or office. It comes fitted with a high quality Beaufort Medium bi-coloured 23 carat gold plated nib which writes really smoothly.
You have a choice of a black velveteen pouch or in a black velvet pen box with white and blue interior (extra charge). This pen is not pillared so the cap cannot be screwed on the back.

Ink converter and five ink cartridges. It comes with a choice of a velveteen pouch or upgrade and add a black velvet pen box with white and blue interior.
How Your Pen Is Constructed
- I start by deciding what colours I am going to make the blank and then mixing the resin and adding the pigments to make the colours that I want. It takes two to three hours before the resin is ready to pour.
- I now mix these colours together to make a unique blank and then leave it to set for a week
- The next move is to select the blank that I want
- After the blank is selected it is cut to size and then drilled to take the brass tubes that the pen mechanism will be fitted in.
- Once the tubes are fitted the blank is then turned on the lathe to the correct size.
- The square blank is now turned and shaped.
- It is now sanded with very fine sandpaper, the finish is then applied with up to ten coats, being sanded between every one or two coats with 1500 grit to 12000 grit sandpaper
- The pen is then assembled and cleaned so that the finished item ready to be dispatched.
Rhodium plated means that a base metal of gold, silver, or other alloy that is coated in a thin layer of rhodium for extra strength and lustre. Items plated in rhodium is shinier and more durable than other metals. Rhodium plating does not scratch, dent, or corrode and retains its lustre.
Titanium Gold plating is a much tougher finish than normal gold plating and therefore is harder wearing finish on this pen.

Each pen is unique and made using sustainable or recycled timber and top quality components. Once turned and sanded, to give the best possible protection it has a number of coats of finish and then a polish. It comes complete in a pouch, full instructions on the care of the pen and a certificate of authenticity, confirming that I have turned the pen personally and the date it was constructed.
