Cypress Ballpoint Pen
This two piece wooden click pen has been made with a piece of recycled Cypress tree that has been turned to produce a nice slim pen with Antique Bronze Coloured fittings. It comes fitted with a standard Parker G2 style ballpoint refill, and replacements are readily available in a variety of qualities, colours and brands online or in local stationary shops due the popularity of the Parker pen. It comes complete with a velvet pouch to protect it.

About the Timber
There are many species of Cypress which are deciduous conifers and most have short needles with a feathery appearance. The trees have a straight trunk that tapers at the base, giving it a soaring perspective. In cultivated landscapes, they grow 50 to 80 feet (15-24 m.) tall. It is a light timber that works well and has a nice finish

Each pen is made using sustainable or recycled timber and top quality components. Once turned and sanded, to give the best possible protection it has up to ten coats of finish and then a polish. It comes complete in a velvet sleeve, full instructions on the care of the pen and a certificate of authenticity, confirming that I have turned the pen personally and in most cases the date it was constructed.
This pen is constructed from timber. Being a natural material each piece is unique in colour and figuring, which will slightly change colour and darken in time. The pen may be smooth to the touch or you may be able to feel the grain, blemishes and faults in the wood under the finish. Pens that are really smooth, with no blemishes are made of plastic!
