Lovely Sweet Chestnut Fountain Pen
This is a Beautiful Fountain Pen is made from Sweet Chestnut with Rose Gold Plated fittings. This has resulted in a beautiful pen that one can still see, and feel, of the dinks and faults in the wood.
The finished pen is “pillared” meaning that the cap can be screwed on the back of the pen to extend it for anyone who likes to use a longer pen. The nib has an iridium point and the pen comes in a black velveteen pouch (or the chance to have a black velvet pen box with white and blue interior as an added extra) and three ink cartridges to get you started. About Your Timber
The grain pattern is actually a real feature, it is open, fairly coarse, making it ideal for wide expanses on tables or worktops. It also has a fairly dense grain and with a good Tannin content it has inherent durability, great for outdoor tables.

This pen is unique and made using sustainable or recycled timber or resin and top quality components. Once turned and sanded, to give the best possible protection it has a number of coats of finish and then a polish. It comes complete in a pouch, full instructions on the care of the pen and a certificate of authenticity, confirming that I have turned the pen personally and the date it was constructed.
All of my pens are UK post free and are usually dispatched within two days by 1st Class Mail (24 Tracked). For orders outside the UK please see the overseas postage charges. These will be sent by Tracked Royal Mail International Standard. Also be aware that the buyer is responsible for any additional import and custom taxes.
