YEW HONEYBEE FOUNTAIN PEN
We all know how important bees are to the human race. Bees are attracted to the pollen of flowers and trees when they are in flower. The pen is capped by a beehive and a honey bee shaped pocket clip. There is also a bee engraving on the end of the pen section with a centre band decorated as a honeycomb.. This particular pen has Chrome Plated fittings. The detail on the hardware of this Honeybee pen is striking with a finely detailed depiction of a bee.
The nib has an iridium point, and the pen comes in a black velveteen pouch (or the chance to have a black velvet pen box as an added extra) and ink cartridges to get you started.
Please make sure that you inspect all of the pictures as this is the pen that is for sale and the one you will receive.

About This Timber Pen
All of my wooden pens are made from recycled, repurposed or sustainable timber. Further information regarding the type of wood this pen is made from will be contained in the information sheet. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Any wood species, that is not listed as being recycled or repurposed comes from sustainable stock and is not listed in the CITES Appendices or on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
Pear wood comes from any species of tree in the genus Pyrus. The wood from these trees is very hard and can be carved into intricate designs without splitting or breaking. Woodwind instruments have historically been made of pear wood, which is also used to make furniture. When burned, the wood gives off a distinctive odour and imparts a flavour that makes it useful for smoking meats.
A relatively expensive wood, pear timber is harvested from pear trees, which grow slowly and do not reach great heights. These trees are usually cultivated for their fruit, and in most cases, the wood is harvested once fruit bearing trees stop producing. It can take decades to grow a pear tree from seed and wait for it to stop producing fruit. Though the wood can be harvested earlier, the trees are valuable for their fruit and are not often grown solely for resale as timber.
