Lovely Mid Range Blue/Green Fountain Pen
My mid-range fountain pens are of a higher grade of fittings than standard fountain pen. The pen writes beautifully, is well balanced and of a classic design. This a lovely Blue/Green Fountain Pen with Black Swirls and Gold Plated fittings with an accented Centre Ring and Cabochon in Black Chrome Plate that compliments this blank beautifully. Like a lot of better quality pens, the finished pen is not “pillared” so the cap cannot be fixed to the back of the pen. The nib has an iridium point and comes with an ink converter, cartridges and is in a black velveteen pouch (or a Hard Velvet Pen Case as an added extra).

How Your Pen Is Constructed
- Firstly, I select the blank that I want to use.
- After the blank is selected it is cut to size and then drilled to take the brass tubes that the pen mechanism will be fitted in.
- Once the tubes are fitted the blank is then turned on the lathe to the correct size.
- The square blank is now turned and shaped.
- It is now sanded with very fine sandpaper, the finish is then applied with up to ten coats, being sanded between every one or two coats with 1500 grit to 12000 grit sandpaper
The pen is then assembled and cleaned so that the finished item ready to be dispatched

Blue/Green Fountain Pen Detail
This pen is unique and made using sustainable or recycled timber or resin and top quality components. Once turned and sanded, to give the best possible protection it has a number of coats of finish and then a polish. It comes complete in a pouch, full instructions on the care of the pen and a certificate of authenticity, confirming that I have turned the pen personally and the date it was constructed.
Delivery
All of my pens are UK post free and are usually dispatched within two days by 1st Class Mail (24 Tracked). For orders outside the UK please see the overseas postage charges. These will be sent by Tracked Royal Mail International Standard. Also be aware that the buyer is responsible for any additional import and custom taxes.
